SNBAPL bags prestigious job from NHAI in Bihar ( M.G. Setu rehabilitation )


National Highways Authority of India, ( NHAI ) the countrys top most national highway construction & implementation authority has awarded one of the most prestigious & technically complex job , the Consultancy services for Rehabilitation of Mahatma Gandhi Setu on NH 19 in Patna in the State of Bihar on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) Toll Basis to SNBAPL.

 

The job won amidst stiff competition is a sign of highly competent technical staff within the rolls of the Company . Mr. Atul Bhobe, Managing Director of the Company will be the Team Leader for the assignment.

 

The National Highway Authority of India has been assigned the task to dismantle and redo the superstructure of the 29-year-old dilapidated 5.5 km long road bridge over the holy Ganga river , in the state of Bihar. This is the longest river bridge in the world.

 

The assignment will essentially define the feasibility and scope of rehabilitation of the MG Setu , and will implement detailed engineering for the most economic option identified in the feasibility study.

 

The completion of the assignment is expected to open doors to similar complicated assignments the world over.
